Arthur's Romeo Mavrodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Aldulea in the 3rd minute of play. Moise Şiman took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Galiceanu. Horea Galiceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Romeo Mavrodin came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Stoicii's Mugur Aldulea. But to his dismay, Mugur Aldulea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Romeo Mavrodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Aldulea, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Romeo Mavrodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Aldulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.F. Arthur's Romeo Mavrodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Zbora in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Mugur Aldulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Mavrodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Popescu scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Mavrodin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Dacian Burtea took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Horea Galiceanu to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Popescu in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Mavrodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Felix Zbora made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Mavrodin. C.F. Arthur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Romeo Mavrodin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Zbora went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, C.F. Arthur's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Aldulea came free, but Romeo Mavrodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 45 minutes on the clock, Teodor Negoescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, C.F. Arthur's Teodor Negoescu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Romeo Mavrodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Aldulea in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudiu Popescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Stoicii's Mugur Aldulea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Mavrodin. That made the score 2-5 after 53 minutes of play. 57 minutes into the match, C.F. Arthur's goalkeeper Romeo Mavrodin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugur Aldulea. Horea Galiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Nebunu to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horea Galiceanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. C.F. Nicola Rareș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Romeo Mavrodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Mavrodin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Stoicii's Mugur Aldulea. But to his dismay, Mugur Aldulea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. C.F. Arthur's Romeo Mavrodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Zbora in the 70th minute of play. C.F. Arthur's Romeo Mavrodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save C.F. Arthur from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Zbora in the 76th minute of play forced C.F. Arthur's goalkeeper Romeo Mavrodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Aldulea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Romeo Mavrodin made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Nistor Piersic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.F. Arthur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicii the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.F. Arthur's Nistor Piersic got a free kick in the 84th minute. Romeo Mavrodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Popescu in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Felix Zbora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romeo Mavrodin, 2-7. Romeo Mavrodin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Popescu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Felix Zbora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Mavrodin. C.F. Arthur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Zbora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-8. Stoicii's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
