Gigi Barbăneagră recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidiu Dragalina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Moise Bâru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Podenii's Niccolo Ciobica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moise Bâru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niccolo Ciobica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Moise Bâru made a huge save. After 26 played minutes Academia M.Balan got a freekick which was hit by Isac Pavalescu. When Ion Alexandrescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Academia M.Balan got a freekick which was hit by Ion Alexandrescu. If Andrei Grozuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Academia M.Balan's Moise Bâru got control of the ball when Niccolo Ciobica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Hodorog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Moise Bâru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Podenii's Virgil Panaitoiu got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Cornel Hodorog came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Academia M.Balan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornel Hodorog couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Niccolo Ciobica made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Podenii's Niccolo Ciobica made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moise Bâru was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th match minute, Academia M.Balan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Blajovan to maneuver through the defense. Andrei Grozuță scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moise Bâru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niccolo Ciobica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Gigi Barbăneagră left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Podenii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 74thth minute of the game Gigi Barbăneagră who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia M.Balan's Moise Bâru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavian Blajovan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Moise Bâru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niccolo Ciobica in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Niccolo Ciobica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Moise Bâru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gigi Barbăneagră had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Marchiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Podenii fully deserved thier win.
