The KILLER BEES CJ fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when KILLER BEES CJ's Traian Băsescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Remus Trăistaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Băsescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th match minute, F.C.Progresul Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Râznicu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Adam Deleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KILLER BEES CJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Deleanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Traian Băsescu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Trăistaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KILLER BEES CJ's Nichifor Papadache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Ecobescu in the 42nd minute of play.

Traian Băsescus short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Remus Trăistaru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emil Hrandabur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Remus Trăistaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Traian Băsescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Trăistaru was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The F.C.Progresul Timisoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
