Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Corneliu Nae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Liviu Boboc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Catalu got a freekick which was hit by Nae Geamănu. Liviu Boboc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Voinea in the 11th minute of the match. Cezar Pădure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Constantin Dobrin in the 17th minute really tested Paul Feroiu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Ailenei in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Boboc saved Catalu from getting behind. Mihai Voinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Boboc having to interfere. Liviu Boboc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Ailenei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Delta Tulcea's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Zafiu came free, but Paul Feroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Paul Feroiu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 36th play minutes Mihai Voinea shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Liviu Boboc and just under the crossbar into goal. After 39 played minutes Catalu got a freekick which was hit by Cezar Pădure. In the 40th minute, Petrică Ailenei sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Catalu's Liviu Boboc didn't even have to move. Corneliu Nae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Boboc having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Catalu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Dobrin to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavian Zafiu made a kick off. Petrică Ailenei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Liviu Boboc made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Aristide Alexiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Catalu's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Voinea came free, but Liviu Boboc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catalu's zone, Mihai Voinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Boboc came out of the goal and Mihai Voinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Boboc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Nae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Boboc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Voinea in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Mihai Voinea took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Liviu Boboc to make any attempt to save it. Corneliu Nae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Delta Tulcea walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
