In the 14th minute, Panait Uncuţă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNITED GALATI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 19th minute Panait Uncuţă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alens Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Buricea in the 23rd minute of play forced Dinamo Triaj's goalkeeper Alens Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Dinamo Triaj's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Buricea came free, but Alens Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cazimir Rareș didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dinamo Triaj's Damian Maghear shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to UNITED GALATI getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sandu Mușătescu hit a great ball. Efrain Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Damian Maghear who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Cazimir Rareș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute Panait Uncuţă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alens Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Joseph got free with Cazimir Rareș in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, UNITED GALATI's Cazimir Rareș got control of the ball when Efrain Joseph tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cazimir Rareș stood somewhat misplaced when Damian Maghear came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 47 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Damian Maghear managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Triaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Maghear was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
