Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciprian Albu took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Parnesti's Petruț Brădea threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sever Neculuță, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sever Neculuță kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Silviu Jilăveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Jilăveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Parnesti's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Albu came free, but Ioan Rioşanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Pavel Sârban got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ioan Rioşanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Albu in the 24th minute of the match. Ioan Rioşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Albu in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciprian Cârnațiu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ioan Rioşanu saved Parnesti from getting behind. In the 31st minute Ciprian Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Rioşanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Parnesti's Șerban Velicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Brădea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Emanuel Runcu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Petruț Brădea got control of the ball when Valeriu Jecu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sever Neculuță came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Parnesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Neculuță couldn't finish the play. Pavel Sârban hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Șerban Velicu made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviu Jilăveanu got free with Ioan Rioşanu in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Parnesti's Ioan Rioşanu got control of the ball when Silviu Jilăveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Emanuel Runcu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gică Herlea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Șerban Velicu came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Parnesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Șerban Velicu couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Șerban Velicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parnesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Emanuel Runcu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Sever Neculuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Brădea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Șerban Velicu's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Cristian Ciutacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Petruț Brădea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Cristian Ciutacu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Brădea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 92 minutes into the match, Parnesti's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Albu came free, but Ioan Rioşanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Silviu Jilăveanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ioan Rioşanu. That made the score 2-1 in the 94 minute of play. There was no doubt that Parnesti were the better team. Parnesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
