After having played for 20 minutes, Ilie Dumitrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -MXM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Dumitrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Corneliu Nae was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. After 37 played minutes Delta Tulcea got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Nae. 39 minutes into the game, Cazimir Zglimbea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delta Tulcea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -MXM- the free kick. Emilian Ţugui was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of -MXM- booed when Delta Tulcea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Ţugui didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Petruț Florean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded -MXM- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Delta Tulcea.
