When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fabian Barys sped through Sportul Studentesc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filip Pora. 21 minutes into the match, F.C SBG DTR's goalkeeper Lucian Caramitru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alperen Korur. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Uncheşu during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Sportul Studentesc's zone, Vali Stoican stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Pora came out of the goal and Vali Stoican tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Alperen Korur made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Sportul Studentesc got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Primo. If Fabian Barys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vali Stoican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Barys scored 0-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filip Pora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ayhan Tanyolaç during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ayhan Tanyolaç hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Fabian Barys who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Filip Pora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filip Pora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Stoican, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Panait Baldu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C SBG DTR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportul Studentesc the free kick. In the 91st minute, Panait Baldu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C SBG DTR's Lucian Caramitru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alperen Korur in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C SBG DTR had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
