Nicu Teofil made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mircea Magheran sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Kibed booed when Casio Banat Vest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikki Jungling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Bârsan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Felix Mavrodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mircea Magheran was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Casio Banat Vest's Diamantino Golem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Teofil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 61st minute, Bart-Jan Maerschalk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Teofil was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, Kibed's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Magheran came free, but Nicu Teofil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kibed's Nicu Teofil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Magheran in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Kibed got a freekick which was hit by Octav Hojbota. Olgierd Ankiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest Pădure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Mavrodin having to interfere. Nicu Teofil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Magheran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Humă did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Felix Mavrodin 89 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Casio Banat Vest fully deserved thier win.
