Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aurel Pârvuță made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Călimanescu in the 6th minute of play forced Poetas's goalkeeper Cristinel Șeitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Pârvuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Gheorghiță having to interfere. Teodor Madgearu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurel Pârvuță let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 16th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. With his leg Costin Gheorghiță managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Poetas's Aurel Pârvuță fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurel Pârvuță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Costin Gheorghiță when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aurel Pârvuță's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Costin Gheorghiță skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Vali Bobeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Spirache charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Spirache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, -PSC- CFR Pascani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Spirache to maneuver through the defense. Leontin Astafei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Gheorghiță having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurențiu Călimanescu was the one to do the kick off. Vali Bobeica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costin Gheorghiță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurel Pârvuță in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Gheorghiță saved -PSC- CFR Pascani from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliodor Zăgănescu got free with Cristinel Șeitan in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Poetas's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Călimanescu came free, but Cristinel Șeitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teodor Madgearu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -PSC- CFR Pascani's protests and gave Teodor Madgearu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to -PSC- CFR Pascani getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Teodor Madgearu hit a great ball. Ionică Culiță's late challenge caught a Poetas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionică Culiță helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to -PSC- CFR Pascani getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ionică Culiță hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, Poetas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Magheru to maneuver through the defense. Costin Gheorghiță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Pârvuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Leontin Astafei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poetas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -PSC- CFR Pascani the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Octavian Paulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. -PSC- CFR Pascani's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Paulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristinel Șeitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. -PSC- CFR Pascani's Valentin Spirache got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Călimanescu in the 94th minute of play forced Poetas's goalkeeper Cristinel Șeitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Poetas were the better team. Poetas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
