An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Paveliuc in the 12th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Dacian Măguran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Robert Covaliu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Arsenal's Dacian Măguran. Dacian Măguran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Covaliu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dacian Măguran saved Arsenal from getting behind. Dacian Măguran came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽RAE⚽'s Gigel Paveliuc. But to his dismay, Gigel Paveliuc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 23 minutes into the game, Teodor Fința was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽RAE⚽ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Teodor Fința got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arsenal's Dacian Măguran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Oneț in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Robert Covaliu made a precise shot to the right of Dacian Măguran. Arsenal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Gigel Paveliuc scored 0-6 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Măguran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dacian Măguran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Covaliu in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Damian Oneț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dacian Măguran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After some careless play in the Arsenal defense, Horaţiu Bălan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Măguran. The Arsenal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Măguran should have stopped the shot. Dacian Măguran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Oneț, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Covaliu to make the kick off. Maxim Lechințan scored 1-9 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toader Cojan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigel Paveliuc charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-9 when Maxim Lechințan sped through ⚽RAE⚽'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toader Cojan. Dacian Măguran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Paveliuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Sever Muslea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Panait Niculcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, ⚽RAE⚽'s Alin Moiș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dacian Măguran. Dacian Măguran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-10. A collision led to ⚽RAE⚽ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Horaţiu Bălan hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Paveliuc came free, but Dacian Măguran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Măguran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Covaliu in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Virgil Ferenț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenal's Dacian Măguran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Paveliuc in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over ⚽RAE⚽ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arsenal throughout the match.
