Valer Ciolofan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Lechințan in the 15th minute of play. Valer Ciolofan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Blajovici, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Maxim Lechințan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Ciolofan having to interfere. Valer Ciolofan made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sever Muslea sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Sever Muslea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valer Ciolofan. -PSC- Borea AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sever Muslea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Arsenal's Dacian Măguran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Ţîrlea in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Nichifor Ţirpescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -PSC- Borea AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Valer Ciolofan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sever Muslea in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes of play, -PSC- Borea AFC's Tudor Bebeșel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dacian Măguran was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, -PSC- Borea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Petrin came free, but Valer Ciolofan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Ciolofan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sever Muslea in the 40th minute. Dacian Măguran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Ţirpescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Lechințan was the one to do the kick off. The Arsenal fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Arsenal's Maxim Lechințan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
