Spectators: 7666 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurențiu Crăiță started the match with the kick off. Iulian Bocaneț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Iftimescu in the 4th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Emilian Traian elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Overdrive FC's Augustin Iftimescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Laurențiu Crăiță hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Valeriu Şunda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Mateianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Augustin Iftimescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Bocaneț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, I.S.C.T's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Traian came free, but Iulian Bocaneț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Overdrive FC's Valeriu Şunda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Onișoru in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilian Traian during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of I.S.C.T booed when Overdrive FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Traian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Traian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Overdrive FC's Petrică Filipașcu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Laurențiu Crăiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Bocaneț having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marian Onișoru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Valeriu Şunda made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Octav Cănănău left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Overdrive FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Iulian Bocaneț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Traian in the 62nd minute of play. Iulian Bocaneț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Crăiță in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Crăiță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Iulian Bocaneț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. I.S.C.T's Marian Onișoru got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Valeriu Dulgherescu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the I.S.C.T fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Dulgherescu couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Codruț Şerbănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Bocaneț came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Overdrive FC's Laurențiu Crăiță. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Crăiță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Traian in the 94th minute of play forced I.S.C.T's goalkeeper Iulian Bocaneț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Augustin Iftimescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iulian Bocaneț. I.S.C.T's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Iftimescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.
