Spectators: 7368 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudiu Nacu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviu Slavici got free with Iulian Bocaneț in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, I.S.C.T's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Nacu came free, but Iulian Bocaneț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Petelea's Nechifor Urdeş got a free kick in the 16th minute. I.S.C.T's Iulian Bocaneț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save I.S.C.T from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, I.S.C.T's goalkeeper Iulian Bocaneț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviu Slavici. Iulian Bocaneț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Nacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of I.S.C.T booed when Petelea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Gheban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Crăiniceanu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Luca Roman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cornel Hațegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Onișoru was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes I.S.C.T got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Floroiu. In the 56th minute of the match Ion Caramitru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iulian Bocaneț skillfully saved the ball. In the 57th minute, Emanuel Gheban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petelea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Petelea made a substitution. Remus Ciuvică replaced Gheorghe Vintilă. After 64 played minutes Petelea got a freekick which was hit by Remus Ciuvică. In the 67th minute Emanuel Gheban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Bocaneț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Bocaneț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Gheban's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 74th match minute, I.S.C.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Floroiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Matei Bute sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and I.S.C.T's Iulian Bocaneț didn't even have to move. In the 77th minute Silviu Slavici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Bocaneț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Bocaneț came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Petelea's Claudiu Nacu. But to his dismay, Claudiu Nacu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of I.S.C.T booed when Petelea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Urdeş didn't get a good kick on the ball. I.S.C.T's Iulian Bocaneț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Urdeş in the 84th minute of play. Iulian Bocaneț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Nacu in the 85th minute of play. Iulian Bocaneț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Gheban in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Nacu in the 91st minute of play forced I.S.C.T's goalkeeper Iulian Bocaneț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
