Calistrat Mitică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Olariu having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Smirna's Francisc Moiș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Pădure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Smirna's Vintilă Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Boia in the 19th minute of play. Vintilă Olariu was a little too slow when Eugen Miulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Claudiu Itu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smirna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Itu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Francisc Bratu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Smirna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 32nd match minute, FCB-QATAR-PLAYER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Miulescu to maneuver through the defense. When Smirna's Lucian Negulescu in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucian Negulescu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Pădure saved FCB-QATAR-PLAYER from getting behind. A collision led to Smirna getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mihnea Chiriță hit a great ball. The FCB-QATAR-PLAYER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Smirna were winning 1-2.

After some careless play in the Smirna defense, Mihnea Vintilescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vintilă Olariu. The Smirna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vintilă Olariu should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Leontin Ardeleanu in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Smirna's Francisc Bratu. After having played for 66 minutes, Mihnea Vintilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCB-QATAR-PLAYER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihnea Vintilescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Boia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vintilă Olariu. 3-2. 79 minutes into the match, FCB-QATAR-PLAYER's goalkeeper Corneliu Pădure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Mihălțan. Mihnea Vintilescu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Lucian Negulescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corneliu Pădure, 3-3. Corneliu Pădure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Moiș in the 92nd minute of the match. Lucian Negulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Corneliu Pădure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Smirna failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
