The audience thought a goal was coming when Yane Marinov got free with Ramiro Grabiel in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mădălin Ducu came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FC Moshu Sibiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Ducu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Bratu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iosif Bratu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mădălin Ducu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Ramiro Grabiel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Yane Marinov in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Felix Bute hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Yane Marinov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Grabiel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramiro Grabiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yane Marinov's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Yane Marinov made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Moshu Sibiu's Ramiro Grabiel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Mădălin Ducu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tihamér Fazekas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Yane Marinov could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Ramiro Grabiel however easily saved by the left post. Ramiro Grabiel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Yane Marinov sent off a good shot on target. 孟荣志 struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ramiro Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viitorul F.C.. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Aelenei made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Ducu in the 51st minute of play forced Viitorul F.C.'s goalkeeper Tihamér Fazekas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Moshu Sibiu booed when Viitorul F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Frântu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Grabiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yane Marinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Mădălin Ducu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Mădălin Ducu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tihamér Fazekas came out and tried to block the shot, but Mădălin Ducu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 73rd minute. After 79 played minutes Viitorul F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gert Spetz. In the 83rd minute Mădălin Ducu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tihamér Fazekas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Ducu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Spetz during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Viitorul F.C.'s Tihamér Fazekas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Ducu in the 95th minute of play. Although Viitorul F.C. had been in control for most of the match, FC Moshu Sibiu still came away with the win.
