Albert Oanță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Muncelean in the 16th minute of the match. Valentin Muncelean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Albert Oanță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Muncelean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Oanță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Dorin Roşculeţ fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patricheni's protests and gave Dorin Roşculeţ a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Patricheni got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Roşculeţ. Patricheni's Dorin Roşculeţ got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Dorin Roşculeţ off the ground. In the 30th match minute, Patricheni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Roşculeţ to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit's goalkeeper Dinu Cârneci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moise Avădanei. 47 minutes into the game, Marius Ilarie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eric Brânzaru charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Brânzaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit got a freekick which was hit by Eric Brânzaru. Eric Brânzaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albert Oanță came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Brânzaru slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 65th minute. Eric Brânzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit's zone, Moise Avădanei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Cârneci came out of the goal and Moise Avădanei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Patricheni's goalkeeper Albert Oanță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Siniştean. In the 93rd minute, Iordache Sichitiu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 96 played minutes, Patricheni's Moise Avădanei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinu Cârneci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patricheni reached it. When the final whistle sounded FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patricheni.
