In the 20th minute, FC Moshu Sibiu's Mădălin Ducu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Albert Oanță was a little too slow when Mădălin Ducu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. Ramiro Grabiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Piersic in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, FC Moshu Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Peres to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Moshu Sibiu's Doru Marincean got a free kick in the 38th minute. Patricheni's Albert Oanță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Ducu in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Patricheni booed when FC Moshu Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Marincean didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costin Braru to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonard Aelenei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Aelenei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosmin Gherguț during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Cosmin Gherguț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Moshu Sibiu had played much better football throughout.
