Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Viorel Daraban started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, IULIA TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Odobescu came free, but Aron Elian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IULIA TEAM's Aron Elian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Dascălu in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, IULIA TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Odobescu came free, but Aron Elian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Elian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Dascălu in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, IULIA TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Muscă to maneuver through the defense. Aron Elian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Odobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Gherdan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by IULIA TEAM's Gelu Davidescu. But to his dismay, Gelu Davidescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, Leonard Bărboianu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Xander's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IULIA TEAM the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Xander's Leonard Bărboianu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Leonard Bărboianu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Viorel Daraban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stelian Chiper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Horaţiu Gherdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Odobescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Vasile Dascălu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basarab Odobescu was the one to do the kick off. Vasile Dascălu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aron Elian made a huge save. Aron Elian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Odobescu in the 54th minute of play. When Gelu Davidescu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the IULIA TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Davidescu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Vasile Dascălu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Xander's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasile Dascălu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Vasile Dascălu lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Aron Elian. Aron Elian was a little too slow when Basarab Odobescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. Vasile Dascălu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aron Elian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for IULIA TEAM! When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, FC Xander's Leonard Bărboianu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aron Elian. Horaţiu Gherdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Daraban in the 91st minute of the match. If Vasile Dascălu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basarab Odobescu came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the FC Xander fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Odobescu couldn't finish the play. FC Xander's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
