Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patricheni's Costin Braru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciocarlia FC's Aurelian Acatincăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Braru in the 6th minute of play. Marius Tarcea kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Damian Dejeu came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Patricheni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Dejeu couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Moise Avădanei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricheni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciocarlia FC the free kick. A collision led to Patricheni getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Moise Avădanei hit a great ball. Albert Oanță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Antipa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moise Avădanei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Cioiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Oanță having to interfere. Albert Oanță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Dănălache in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Patricheni's Albert Oanță got control of the ball when Anton Cioiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liviu Antipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lucrețiu Piersic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Patricheni booed when Ciocarlia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Dănălache didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Ciocarlia FC's Albert Oanță threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horia Vărzaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Antipa in the 39th minute of play forced Patricheni's goalkeeper Albert Oanță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Marcu Dănălache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciocarlia FC and the Patricheni players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ciocarlia FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Marcu Dănălache hit a great ball. Costin Braru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Antipa to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Patricheni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ciocarlia FC:s goal. The referee gave Ciocarlia FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Doru Bourceanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Patricheni's Albert Oanță. 1-0. Albert Oanță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Cioiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Cioiu took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Oanță. Albert Oanță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Liviu Antipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricheni's Albert Oanță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Antipa in the 69th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Moise Avădanei got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Albert Oanță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Uzuneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Ciocarlia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Vărzaru to maneuver through the defense. Damian Dejeu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Patricheni's zone, Anton Cioiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Oanță came out of the goal and Anton Cioiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Patricheni got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Roşculeţ. After a rather tough play, Ciocarlia FC's Marcu Dănălache got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Vărzaru in the 94th minute of play forced Patricheni's goalkeeper Albert Oanță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Ciocarlia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
