Tiberiu Tudose came out of the goal and Eric Brânzaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Muncelean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Tudose having to interfere. After 8 minutes Bulgaru AS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomasz Cichocki who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit's corner Tomasz Cichocki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiberiu Tudose quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th minute, Leontin Zubaşcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Muncelean came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tiberiu Tudose could save by the left post. In the 31st minute Leontin Zubaşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Cârneci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Leontin Zubaşcu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit's Dinu Cârneci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiberiu Tudose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Brânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Brânzaru in the 44th minute of play forced Bulgaru AS's goalkeeper Tiberiu Tudose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Brânzaru took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiberiu Tudose. Tiberiu Tudose dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Brânzaru was the one to do the kick off. Bulgaru AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Zubaşcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bulgaru AS booed when FC Ceaușescu 1947 Unit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Muncelean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiberiu Tudose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Brânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Brânzaru in the 76th minute of play forced Bulgaru AS's goalkeeper Tiberiu Tudose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Bărnuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leontin Zubaşcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Cârneci was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to Bulgaru AS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pavel Măguran hit a great ball. Leontin Zubaşcu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute.
