Ciesti's Marcel Moga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ciesti from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bulgaru AS booed when Ciesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Boroș didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bulgaru AS's Leontin Zubaşcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcel Moga. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Ciesti's Marcel Moga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ciesti from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Bulgaru AS's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Popilean came free, but Tiberiu Tudose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Tudose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Şimandan in the 21st minute of play. Tiberiu Tudose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Popilean in the 22nd minute of the match. Leontin Zubaşcu in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel Moga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcel Moga stood somewhat misplaced when Leontin Zubaşcu came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. A hard shot 39 in the game by Leontin Zubaşcu from a close distance when the talented Marcel Moga managed to make a qualified save. Ciesti's players were relieved. In the 45th minute Eliodor Boieraș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Tudose saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliodor Boieraș to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Ciesti got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Cernea. Leontin Zubaşcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leontin Zubaşcu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Marcel Moga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulgaru AS. After a defensive mix-up in Ciesti's zone, Constantin Bărnuțiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Moga came out of the goal and Constantin Bărnuțiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bulgaru AS's Leontin Zubaşcu in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciesti's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ioan Bădoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bulgaru AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioan Bădoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Moga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iulian Cernea hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ciesti's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Zubaşcu came free, but Marcel Moga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96th play minutes Leontin Zubaşcu shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Marcel Moga and just under the crossbar into goal. Bulgaru AS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
