The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孟荣志 in the 8th minute of play forced Ciesti's goalkeeper Marcel Moga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yane Marinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marcel Moga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Moga having to interfere. The supporters of Viitorul F.C. booed when Ciesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Boroș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Moga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Turcotte in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Viitorul F.C.'s Dacian Frântu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Dorin Boroș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ciesti getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Codrin Mustățea hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Dacian Frântu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Moga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Yane Marinov sped through Ciesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Moga. Viitorul F.C.'s 孟荣志 got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 minutes of play, Viitorul F.C.'s Yane Marinov made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Moga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Yane Marinov made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Yane Marinov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcel Moga, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Yane Marinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Moga was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 56 played minutes Ciesti got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Ferenț. 60 minutes into the match, Viitorul F.C.'s Yane Marinov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Moga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yane Marinov got free with Marcel Moga in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Alex Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dumitru Şimandan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Yane Marinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Moga having to interfere. Tihamér Fazekas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Unchiaşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Dumitru Şimandan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciesti and the Viitorul F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Ciesti got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Şimandan. After 82 minutes, Yane Marinov made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Ciesti's Marcel Moga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ciesti getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Codrin Mustățea hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Yane Marinov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Moga. Yane Marinov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Ciesti's zone, Yane Marinov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Moga came out of the goal and Yane Marinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viitorul F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
