With a little luck, Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă got control of the ball when Viorel Daraban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Daraban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Daraban in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Drâmbă saved Caraseu from getting behind. Stelian Chiper scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Drâmbă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Caraseu booed when IULIA TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Martinaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Costin Braica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustinian Cocârlă made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by IULIA TEAM's Petrică Muscă. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelian Focșa to make the kick off. If Stelian Chiper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Viorel Daraban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Drâmbă was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, IULIA TEAM's Stelian Chiper got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Mugur Godeanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aron Elian. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Viorel Daraban managed to get in a good position for a shot. IULIA TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Daraban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Drâmbă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gelu Davidescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Drâmbă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gelu Davidescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Robert Ioviță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Caraseu got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Sorin. The supporters of IULIA TEAM booed when Caraseu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Sorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Drâmbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Daraban in the 94th minute of the match. IULIA TEAM's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
