Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eliodor Boieraș kicked off to start the match. Florin Unchiaşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelian Focșa in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Moga saved Ciesti from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Florin Unchiaşu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Unchiaşu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Drâmbă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcel Moga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Braica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Marius Popilean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciesti and the Caraseu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marius Popilean hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă got control of the ball when Florin Unchiaşu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Caraseu's Manole Oțeteleșanu in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcel Moga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraseu. 47 minutes into the match, Ciesti's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Focșa came free, but Marcel Moga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

A collision led to Ciesti getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eliodor Boieraș hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ciesti's goalkeeper Marcel Moga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Braica. Marcel Moga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Focșa in the 68th minute of the match. If Costin Braica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcel Moga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelian Focșa's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Costin Braica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Marcel Moga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 73 minutes into the game, Aurelian Focșa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Moga. Aurelian Focșa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Braica got free with Marcel Moga in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 played minutes Ciesti got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Boieraș. When Caraseu's Aurelian Focșa in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciesti's goalie prevented a goal. Marcel Moga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Focșa in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Caraseu's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Şimandan came free, but Emanuel Drâmbă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciesti's Eliodor Boieraș got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caraseu played a much better game than Ciesti and deserved their victory. The Ciesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
