Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Leontin Zubaşcu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the game, Dorin Boroș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bulgaru AS the free kick. A collision led to Ciesti getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dorin Boroș hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Zubaşcu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Moga saved Ciesti from getting behind. After having played for 12 minutes, Leontin Zubaşcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulgaru AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Zubaşcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bulgaru AS were furious when Ioan Bădoi was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Bulgaru AS getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ioan Bădoi hit a great ball. The long shot by Dorin Boroș in the 16th minute really tested Tiberiu Tudose's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 18th minute of the match Florin Frâncu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Moga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Constantin Bărnuțiu came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bulgaru AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Bărnuțiu couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Eliodor Boieraș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Tudose saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Unchiaşu got free with Tiberiu Tudose in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bulgaru AS's Tiberiu Tudose proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bulgaru AS from getting a goal against them. Constantin Bărnuțiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Moga having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Constantin Bărnuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Moga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Moga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Bărnuțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Pavel Măguran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marcel Moga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Constantin Bărnuțiu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bulgaru AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Bărnuțiu couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliodor Boieraș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Ciesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Şimandan to maneuver through the defense. Tiberiu Tudose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Unchiaşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Florin Unchiaşu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Tudose. Bulgaru AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Unchiaşu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tiberiu Tudose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Boieraș in the 61st minute of play. Tiberiu Tudose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Unchiaşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciesti's Marcel Moga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Ciesti from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Dumitru Şimandan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Boieraș in the 73rd minute of play forced Bulgaru AS's goalkeeper Tiberiu Tudose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiberiu Tudose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Popilean in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Aluculesei during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Bulgaru AS got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Aluculesei. Ciesti's Marcel Moga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ciesti from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the game, Nechifor Bitanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcel Moga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiberiu Tudose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Boieraș in the 83rd minute of play. Manuel Aluculesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Constantin Bărnuțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bulgaru AS's Constantin Bărnuțiu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bulgaru AS's Nechifor Bitanu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Constantin Bărnuțiu scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Moga, making the score, 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Bulgaru AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ciesti.
