Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cristinel Balcan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Zdrelea in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Codru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornel Zdrelea in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Codru saved Pietrisul CSM from getting behind. Stroestii's Adam Chițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Ignea in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Stroestii's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Hurezeanu came free, but Adam Chițan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pietrisul CSM's Nistor Codru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Zdrelea in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Pietrisul CSM booed when Stroestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Dinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iurie Ignea came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Pietrisul CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Ignea couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Balcan got free with Adam Chițan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 27 in the game by Cristinel Balcan from a close distance when the talented Adam Chițan managed to make a qualified save. Stroestii's players were relieved. Eric Pașcalău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Adam Chițan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Cornel Zdrelea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pietrisul CSM's Nistor Codru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Ignea in the 35th minute of play forced Stroestii's goalkeeper Adam Chițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Balcan got free with Adam Chițan in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Chițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Ignea in the 38th minute of play. Cornel Lupescu's late challenge caught a Stroestii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornel Lupescu helped the player get up and apologised. Cornel Zdrelea scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nistor Codru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Cezar Hurezeanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Chițan. Cezar Hurezeanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Ignea to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Cristinel Balcan sped through Stroestii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Chițan. Adam Chițan came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pietrisul CSM's Iurie Ignea. But to his dismay, Iurie Ignea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Stroestii's Adam Chițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Hurezeanu in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pietrisul CSM's Iurie Ignea got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ştefan Bercea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cornel Zdrelea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroestii's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Zdrelea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Codru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ştefan Toma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nistor Codru made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cornel Zdrelea sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes, Cornel Zdrelea made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pietrisul CSM's Nistor Codru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Pietrisul CSM's Cristinel Balcan in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stroestii's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Ignea in the 86th minute of play forced Stroestii's goalkeeper Adam Chițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Chițan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Ignea in the 90th minute of the match. Cornel Zdrelea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Nistor Codru made a huge save. Cornel Zdrelea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Nistor Codru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stroestii players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pietrisul CSM.
