Furnicosi CSM's Codrin Lungu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Băncilă in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Furnicosi CSM's Esteve Nicholas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevin Klaasen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Esteve Nicholas took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Klaasen. Kevin Klaasen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Ionuț Băncilă dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Codrin Lungu, 1-2. 20 minutes into the match, Esteve Nicholas notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Yep's Kevin Klaasen. Kevin Klaasen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Niculiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Furnicosi CSM getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Matei Axinte hit a great ball. Esteve Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Emanuel Niculiță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furnicosi CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Niculiță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes of play Furnicosi CSM's Matei Axinte was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 34th match minute, Furnicosi CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Axinte to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Moise Mustață made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Moise Mustață managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Yep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Mustață was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Moise Mustață who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furnicosi CSM's Codrin Lungu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ionuț Băncilă struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Codrin Lungu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Yep. Codrin Lungu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Mustață in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Băncilă in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Lungu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kevin Klaasen was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Esteve Nicholas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteve Nicholas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The audience was convinced that Ionuț Băncilă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Lungu was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Kevin Klaasen made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Emanuel Niculiță sent off a good shot on target. Codrin Lungu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Mustață in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Furnicosi CSM's Basarab Arosculesei got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ionuț Băncilă kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Eusebiu Vâlceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Furnicosi CSM's Emanuel Niculiță quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Ioanițiu, made in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Furnicosi CSM's Esteve Nicholas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Daniel Steriopol hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Furnicosi CSM were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Yep's much stronger midfield.
