Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Niculiță took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Iurie Ignea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Codrin Lungu. The goal made the score 2-0. Codrin Lungu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Ignea in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Balcan got free with Codrin Lungu in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th match minute, Furnicosi CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Şandru to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Furnicosi CSM's zone, Iurie Ignea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Lungu came out of the goal and Iurie Ignea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pietrisul CSM booed when Furnicosi CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Arosculesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Ignea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Pavel Șerbulea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pietrisul CSM's Nistor Codru. Nistor Codru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosmin Dragota during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Cosmin Dragota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Ignea to make the kick off. Nistor Codru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Nicholas in the 63rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Esteve Nicholas took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Nistor Codru to make any attempt to save it. Codrin Lungu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Balcan in the 75th minute of the match. Emanuel Niculiță might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nistor Codru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Niculiță ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Furnicosi CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Balcan came free, but Codrin Lungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Pietrisul CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Stelea to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes, Pietrisul CSM's Cristinel Burileanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Codrin Lungu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pietrisul CSM reached it. In the 86th minute, Pietrisul CSM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emanuel Niculiță fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Cosmin Dragota was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th match minute, Furnicosi CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Dragota to maneuver through the defense. Pietrisul CSM were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
