Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cazimir Berceanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Olimpiu Şelaru scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Tănăsie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FCM Bacau defense, He Shu Xun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costică Tănăsie. The FCM Bacau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costică Tănăsie should have stopped the shot. Costică Tănăsie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of He Shu Xun's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Pascaru came free, but Costică Tănăsie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Merișor's late challenge caught a Cavalerii Viola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihăiţă Merișor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Mihăiţă Merișor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Shu Xun in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costică Tănăsie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes, He Shu Xun made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FCM Bacau's Costică Tănăsie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Győrfi came free, but Costică Tănăsie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Cavalerii Viola got a freekick which was hit by He Shu Xun. In the 26th minute, He Shu Xun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Tănăsie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-5 when He Shu Xun sped through FCM Bacau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Costică Tănăsie. 0-6 became the score in the 36th minute when He Shu Xun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 40 minutes, Iacob Urduban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCM Bacau and the Cavalerii Viola players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cavalerii Viola booed when FCM Bacau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Urduban didn't get a good kick on the ball. FCM Bacau's Costică Tănăsie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Shu Xun in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Oproiu came free, but Costică Tănăsie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cavalerii Viola's Iván Győrfi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costică Tănăsie. That made the score 0-7 after 53 minutes of play. In the 57th minute, Gavril Zăraşcu made a precise shot to the right of Costică Tănăsie. FCM Bacau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Marin Oproiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costică Tănăsie came out and tried to block the shot, but Marin Oproiu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 60th minute. FCM Bacau's Costică Tănăsie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Oproiu in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Győrfi in the 66th minute of play forced FCM Bacau's goalkeeper Costică Tănăsie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Marin Oproiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costică Tănăsie. The goal made the score 0-10. In the 73rd play minute Victor Pascaru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Costică Tănăsie. 0-11. Iván Győrfi struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Costică Tănăsie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavalerii Viola. Victor Pascaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Costică Tănăsie firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 80 minutes of play, Cavalerii Viola's Iván Győrfi made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costică Tănăsie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marin Oproiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Costică Tănăsie made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Şelaru notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of FCM Bacau's Costică Tănăsie. Costică Tănăsie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92nd play minutes Iván Győrfi shot 0-15, a short shot which went by Costică Tănăsie and just under the crossbar into goal. Iván Győrfi scored 0-16 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Tănăsie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Cavalerii Viola could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCM Bacau throughout the match.
