Cătălin Tadici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Niculiță in the 6th minute of the match. Codrin Lungu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Marinică, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Basarab Arosculesei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cătălin Tadici. SIERRA CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emanuel Niculiță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihail Cînu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Codrin Lungu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Cosmin Dragota in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SIERRA CF's Tudor Porumboiu. Emanuel Niculiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cătălin Tadici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Anton Marinică recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codrin Lungu. Anton Marinică showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 40th minute, Esteve Nicholas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cătălin Tadici was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Anton Marinică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Codrin Lungu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Niculiță took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Tadici. Cătălin Tadici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The SIERRA CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Furnicosi CSM were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Marinică to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, SIERRA CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Marinică to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Tadici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Paul Şandru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furnicosi CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SIERRA CF the free kick. After 65 played minutes Furnicosi CSM got a freekick which was hit by Matei Axinte. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Niculiță got free with Cătălin Tadici in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Furnicosi CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Chihaia came free, but Codrin Lungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Anton Marinică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codrin Lungu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Codrin Lungu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Marinică in the 80th minute of play. Furnicosi CSM's Codrin Lungu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Cînu in the 87th minute of play. Paul Şandru got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th minute, Paul Şandru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Furnicosi CSM's Matei Axinte got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mihail Cînu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Lungu having to interfere.
