In the 31st minute, Iustinian Vorniceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Uncheşelu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Iustinian Vorniceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Uncheşelu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to MANCHESTER CITY getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marius Papadima hit a great ball. Iulian Rogozanu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Chiughiu CS's Eric Antipa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Iosif Tripon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Uncheşelu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilie Mihele to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Ilie Mihele made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chiughiu CS's Aurel Chiriac tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Cazimir Ghionescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurel Chiriac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Crăciun in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MANCHESTER CITY! The goalkeeper, Marcel Uncheşelu, was totally fooled by Chiughiu CS's Pompiliu Donecea, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Iustinian Vorniceanu had several of the MANCHESTER CITY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Marcel Uncheşelu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eric Antipa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Marcel Uncheşelu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Antipa got free with Marcel Uncheşelu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustinian Vorniceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcel Uncheşelu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Antipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iustinian Vorniceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Uncheşelu having to interfere.
