After having played for 7 minutes, Emanuel Iurea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nistrea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Iurea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Panait Cojocaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabian Loga. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Nistrea getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ionel Chesaru hit a great ball. If Sabin Astafiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Carp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Zamfirescu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carloman's Codrin Durbacă got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Matei Crainic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nistrea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Crainic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Vintilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabin Astafiei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Loga having to make a save. In the 45th minute, Nistrea's Sorin Pacuraru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sorin Pacuraru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nistrea protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sorin Pacuraru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panait Cojocaru to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Carloman booed when Nistrea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Vintilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Pompiliu Ursulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carloman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Ursulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Carloman's Panait Cojocaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Loga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 62 minutes into the match, Carloman's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Iurea came free, but Tiberiu Zamfirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Nistrea got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Chesaru. In the 65th minute Pompiliu Ursulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Loga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes in the game, Horea Carp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiberiu Zamfirescu having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Nistrea's Emanuel Iurea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiberiu Zamfirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Iurea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tiberiu Zamfirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nistrea's Horea Carp got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Mihail Romaşcanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nistrea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Romaşcanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Carloman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Craia to maneuver through the defense. After a long run with the ball, Paul Craia did a trick in the 80th minute in front of Nistrea's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-0. An impressive performance by Carloman's Paul Craia! Emanuel Iurea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tiberiu Zamfirescu made a huge save. Mihail Romaşcanu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tiberiu Zamfirescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nistrea. The crowd rose to their feet as Nistrea's Emanuel Iurea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiberiu Zamfirescu. That made the score 4-1 after 87 minutes of play. If Panait Cojocaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Nistrea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Crainic to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Carloman's Tiberiu Zamfirescu got control of the ball when Horea Carp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nistrea's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Carloman had won, even though Nistrea had held more of the ball.
