In the 6th minute Cornel Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Uncheşelu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Hidișan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavius Negrițoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Uncheşelu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Romeo Hidișan took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Uncheşelu. Marcel Uncheşelu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Flavius Negrițoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avram Tuleiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Uncheşelu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Negrițoiu in the 23rd minute of play. Marcel Uncheşelu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Vama Veche ™'s Avram Tuleiu. But to his dismay, Avram Tuleiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Avram Tuleiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Uncheşelu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Tuleiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Tuleiu came free, but Marcel Uncheşelu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Mihele in the 44th minute of play forced Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Eusebiu Cozorici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 46 in the game by Ilie Mihele from a close distance when the talented Eusebiu Cozorici managed to make a qualified save. Vama Veche ™'s players were relieved. After the first half Vama Veche ™ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavius Negrițoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ionică Chihaia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Flavius Negrițoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Avram Tuleiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vama Veche ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Tuleiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Uncheşelu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Avram Tuleiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Valer Crăciun came free, but Eusebiu Cozorici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebiu Cozorici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Mihele in the 76th minute of play. Flavius Negrițoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER CITY's goalkeeper Marcel Uncheşelu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avram Tuleiu. Nechifor Negură charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Negură the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Avram Tuleiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Marius Papadima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MANCHESTER CITY and the Vama Veche ™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marius Papadima hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Flavius Negrițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcel Uncheşelu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When MANCHESTER CITY's Valer Crăciun in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vama Veche ™'s goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vama Veche ™ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
