Polovragi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Avantul 06 Resita the free kick. Anton Epure made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cristi Comșa sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Anton Epure got control of the ball when Cristi Comșa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Polovragi's Mădălin Buznea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The penalty shot was made by Emilian Hălmăgeanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Anton Epure. 2-0. Mădălin Buznea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Anton Epure made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Polovragi's Cristi Comșa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Epure. Anton Epure yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Anton Epure made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Pavel Zgondea sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Pavel Zgondea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Epure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
