Marin Poenaru came out of the goal and Tudor Papadache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to UFC Avantul 06 Resita getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mugur Răzvan hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tudor Papadache made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Dinu Brumă got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Durbacă got free with Anton Epure in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinu Brumă lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, one of UFC Avantul 06 Resita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UFC Avantul 06 Resita. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Stoiciu during the 90th minute. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for UFC Avantul 06 Resita. Tudor Papadache stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marin Poenaru. 4-3. Grigore Balaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. My Barber FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
