Demsus's Petru Creteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Balaban in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Petru Dersidan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Demsus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Avantul 06 Resita the free kick. Petru Dersidan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Albert Dășanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Epure having to interfere. With a little luck, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Anton Epure got control of the ball when Iordache Buciuman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petru Dersidan got free with Anton Epure in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iordache Buciuman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Dășanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petru Creteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Balaban in the 33rd minute of play. Petru Creteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Petru Dersidan was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Demsus getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Petru Dersidan hit a great ball. UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Tudor Papadache couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Demsus. 40 minutes into the match, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goalkeeper Anton Epure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Buciuman. In the 43rd minute of the match, Iordache Buciuman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Epure saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 45 minutes into the match, Iordache Buciuman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Epure. UFC Avantul 06 Resita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Buciuman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

In the 51st minute Iordache Buciuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Epure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goalkeeper Anton Epure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iordache Buciuman in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Epure saved UFC Avantul 06 Resita from getting behind. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by UFC Avantul 06 Resita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mihai Râznicu was slow to take the kick. During this time Demsus's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Mihăiţă Melentie heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Buciuman in the 63rd minute of play. Tudor Papadache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Petru Creteanu made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Constantin Barbă put in a rough tackle. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Demsus! Demsus:s Petru Creteanu showed great skill when he stopped Tudor Papadache:s penalty. Petru Creteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Balaban in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Demsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Gușatu to maneuver through the defense. Albert Dășanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anton Epure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Albert Dășanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Epure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on Demsus's corner Mihai Râznicu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anton Epure quite easily take care of the ball. In the 97th minute, Tudor Papadache sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Demsus's Petru Creteanu didn't even have to move. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Demsus fully deserved thier win.
