In the 44th minute, 陈骋磊 made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Irod. Dumbravioara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 47 minutes into the match, Dumbravioara's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Kisielka came free, but Bogdan Irod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilian Bute was the one to do the kick off. Dumbravioara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Tănăsescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nistor Sorin fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dumbravioara's protests and gave Nistor Sorin a yellow card for diving instead. Dumbravioara's Bogdan Irod proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Dumbravioara from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Irod was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and 陈鹰渊 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 陈鹰渊 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Sven-Arne Rudkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilian Bute's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Eugen Damian put in a rough tackle. In the 87th minute Zygmunt Rutkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Irod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Kisielka got free with Bogdan Irod in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Dumbravioara's Emil Grigorie got a free kick in the 91st minute. Arsenal played a much better game than Dumbravioara and deserved their victory. The Dumbravioara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
