Cristi Comșa struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fabian Pacurar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polovragi. The supporters of Polovragi booed when Hashu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Diaconu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Cristi Comșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Pacurar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Pacurar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Comșa in the 32nd minute of the match. Codruț Ciorăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavian Magheran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Hashu's Codruț Ciorăscu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sever Vieru was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Octavian Magheran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavel Zgondea's late challenge caught a Hashu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Zgondea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Polovragi getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pavel Zgondea hit a great ball. Sever Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Mincu in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristi Comșa got free with Fabian Pacurar in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Polovragi's Aurelian Ionașcu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Mincu in the 73rd minute of play forced Polovragi's goalkeeper Sever Vieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Pacurar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Comșa in the 76th minute of play. Sever Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Magheran in the 87th minute of the match. Fabian Pacurar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Comșa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Octavian Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Vieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hashu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Polovragi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
