Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Vlad Şimoc made the kick off and thus started the match. Anton Epure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Şimoc in the 2nd minute of the match. Tudor Papadache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codrin Tănăsocă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Ţeica in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galaţi AS's Nichifor Pipirig got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tudor Papadache took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Tănăsocă. Codrin Tănăsocă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anton Epure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei in the 21st minute of play. Anton Epure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Şimoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Anton Epure was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nichifor Pipirig charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Pipirig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galaţi AS's Nichifor Pipirig got a free kick in the 26th minute. Anton Epure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Bulzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugur Bulzan took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Epure. Anton Epure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 39th minute, Nichifor Pipirig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galaţi AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugur Bulzan in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Epure prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Tudor Papadache made the kick off in the second half. Vlad Şimoc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Epure came out and tried to block the shot, but Vlad Şimoc slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Mihail Ţeica got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilian Blaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Codrin Tănăsocă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Bulzan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Galaţi AS's Mugur Bulzan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Epure. That made the score 1-4 after 63 minutes of play. Mădălin Tilea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Epure having to interfere. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Şimoc in the 68th minute of play. Mihail Ţeica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Şimoc in the 72nd minute of play forced UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goalkeeper Anton Epure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Şimoc in the 77th minute of play. Tudor Papadache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goalkeeper Anton Epure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugur Bulzan. Anton Epure came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Galaţi AS's Nichifor Pipirig. But to his dismay, Nichifor Pipirig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 90th minute, Nichifor Pipirig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Anton Epure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Pipirig in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Galaţi AS's Aristide Ciolofan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Epure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Galaţi AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UFC Avantul 06 Resita.
