Spectators: 7746 (Terracing: 5811, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Demsus's Mihai Râznicu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petru Creteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Diaconu in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hashu's Iustinian Botea got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Iordache Buciuman made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Pacurar. Hashu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th minute Victor Diaconu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Creteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petru Creteanu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Codruț Ciorăscu sent off a good shot on target. Mihai Râznicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Pacurar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Codruț Ciorăscu could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Petru Creteanu however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute, Iordache Buciuman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demsus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Iordache Buciuman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fabian Pacurar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ioan Mușetescu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Alin Fărcășan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hashu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alin Fărcășan couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alin Fărcășan to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Demsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Dersidan to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Hashu's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Buciuman came free, but Fabian Pacurar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Creteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Fărcășan's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Demsus's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Ciorăscu came free, but Petru Creteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Barbă hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Alin Fărcășan might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petru Creteanu. Petru Creteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Fărcășan in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Hashu's Alin Fărcășan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petru Creteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Demsus's Petru Creteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Fărcășan in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Hashu's goalkeeper Fabian Pacurar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Buciuman. Hashu's Fabian Pacurar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Râznicu in the 77th minute of play. Ioan Mușetescu's late challenge caught a Demsus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ioan Mușetescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Ioan Mușetescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Pacurar made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Iordache Buciuman sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Pacurar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Iovanovici in the 84th minute of the match. When Mihai Râznicu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demsus's protests and gave Mihai Râznicu a yellow card for diving instead. Gigi Mincu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match was over Demsus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hashu throughout the match.
