Ripensia Timişoara's goalkeeper Alex Blănaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Papadache. Alex Blănaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Ţeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 7 minutes of play, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Tudor Papadache made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Blănaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Blănaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Papadache in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Mihail Ţeica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Blănaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Epure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Mîțu in the 24th minute of the match. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Arnăuțescu in the 24th minute of play. Mihail Ţeica kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Mîțu came free, but Anton Epure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Grigore Balaban made a precise shot to the right of Alex Blănaru. F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Mîțu to make the kick off. Alex Blănaru came out of the goal and Grigore Balaban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 minutes of play, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's Mihail Ţeica made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Blănaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dinu Brumă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Blănaru having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Papadache came free, but Alex Blănaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Brumă was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, one of UFC Avantul 06 Resita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UFC Avantul 06 Resita. Alex Blănaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Ţeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute, Mădălin Fărcășan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UFC Avantul 06 Resita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
