Eduard Bucurescu charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Bucurescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Nicea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Emilian Bute lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tadeu Moraes. In the 10th minute, Eduard Bucurescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th play minute Emilian Bute came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tadeu Moraes. 2-0. FC Alinborger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Narcis Buhoiu scored to the left of an out of position Tadeu Moraes, making the score, 3-0. Liviu Frențiu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bogdan Irod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bîlbă in the 26th minute of play. Dumbravioara's Bogdan Irod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bîlbă in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Bîlbă in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Irod saved Dumbravioara from getting behind. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Alinborger from getting a goal against them. Sever Iuonaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bogdan Irod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codruț Nicea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tadeu Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Bîlbă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Irod having to interfere. In the 48th play minute Emilian Bute came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tadeu Moraes. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilian Bute stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Tănăsescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastian Bîlbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Traian Tănăsescu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Dumbravioara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Tănăsescu couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the game, Sever Iuonaș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Alinborger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dumbravioara the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, FC Alinborger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Iuonaș to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Tănăsescu in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Iuonaș got free with Bogdan Irod in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Bute in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Paul Buteanu hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Codruț Nicea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Irod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bîlbă, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. FC Alinborger were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Dumbravioara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doru Teodoroiu took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Bîlbă in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Irod prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Alinborger players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dumbravioara.
