The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Vintilă Barascu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echipa Elenei's Stelian Ionete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stelian Ionete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vintilă Barascu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Stelian Ionete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ye Jian Kang went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Echipa Elenei's Stelian Ionete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Gorun in the 13th minute of play. Stelian Ionete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vintilă Barascu went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Vintilă Barascu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ticul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Echipa Elenei's Stelian Ionete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Tatomir in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Vintilă Barascu put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Stelian Ionete. Stelian Ionete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandru Chinezu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Stelian Gorun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Ionete. Echipa Elenei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelian Gorun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Stelian Ionete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valeriu Tatomir went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Stelian Ionete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Barascu in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ticul's Silviu Râznicu got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes, Niculae Gaciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ticul and the Echipa Elenei players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ticul getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Niculae Gaciu hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Vintilă Barascu notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Echipa Elenei's Stelian Ionete. Stelian Ionete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Echipa Elenei booed when Ticul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Josan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Vintilă Barascu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Ionete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. After the first half Ticul were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luca Moise was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Valeriu Tatomir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ticul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriu Tatomir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Echipa Elenei's Valentin Videanu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Ticul's Vintilă Barascu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Echipa Elenei's goalie prevented a goal. Vintilă Barascu had several of the Echipa Elenei's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-15 score and a disappointed Stelian Ionete as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute, Valeriu Tatomir reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stelian Ionete. The goal made the score 0-16. Echipa Elenei's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Vintilă Barascu scored to the left of an out of position Stelian Ionete, making the score, 0-17. 80 minutes into the match, Valeriu Tatomir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Ionete. Echipa Elenei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Tatomir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-18. In the 84th minute, Vintilă Barascu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Ionete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-19. A hard shot 87 in the game by Vintilă Barascu from a close distance when the talented Stelian Ionete managed to make a qualified save. Echipa Elenei's players were relieved. In the 90th minute, Vintilă Barascu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stelian Ionete. The goal made the score 0-20. The Ticul fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Ticul's Vintilă Barascu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-21 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Ticul's Stelian Ionete threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vintilă Barascu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Echipa Elenei's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Alexandru Chinezu scored to the left of an out of position Stelian Ionete, making the score, 0-22. When the match was over Ticul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Echipa Elenei throughout the match.
