Despite this Mugurel Donecea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mugur Grecea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Rogozea in the 52nd minute of the match. Aurelian Epure kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Marcu Nicolau's late challenge caught a Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcu Nicolau helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Horia Ignea got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mugur Grecea.
