Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Vrejiu couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Cosâmbescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Vasile Pavel made a huge save. Pompiliu Albuț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Pavel came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FCM BACAU's Gabriel Cosâmbescu. But to his dismay, Gabriel Cosâmbescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute, Gabriel Cosâmbescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCM BACAU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, FCM BACAU's Gabriel Cosâmbescu got a free kick in the 16th minute. Pompiliu Albuț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasile Pavel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Vasile Pavel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Gabriel Cosâmbescu sent off a good shot on target. When FCM BACAU's Iordache Şerbănoiu in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iordache Şerbănoiu made a kick off. Angel Túrnev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Cosâmbescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of AC Maimutoii booed when FCM BACAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Vrejiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Braica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Barreto in the 70th minute of play. Lucian Vrejiu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. AC Maimutoii's Vasile Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Cosâmbescu in the 76th minute of play. Gabriel Cosâmbescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Pavel having to interfere. Alex Urdoi made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Iordache Şerbănoiu immediately put the ball in play. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Maimutoii! When FCM BACAU's Iordache Şerbănoiu in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute, Angel Túrnev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the game, Gabriel Cosâmbescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Vasile Pavel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FCM BACAU fully deserved thier win.
