A collision led to Veveritele Ucigase -MM- getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eduard Rogozea hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Ion Muntian made a precise shot to the right of Stelian Ionete. Echipa Elenei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sorin Cazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute David Buzincu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Ionete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luca Moise 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Eduard Rogozea scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelian Ionete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Muntian during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Echipa Elenei's Valentin Videanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mugurel Donecea but with some difficulty. Vintilă Mavrogheni made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Echipa Elenei's Petrică Mihu. In the 37th minute, Eric Cazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Hoisie hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Horia Ignea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stelian Ionete skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Veveritele Ucigase -MM- were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Sorin Cazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute of the match Silviu Iancu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Donecea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Mugurel Manafu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Călin Zaharia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mugurel Donecea came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Echipa Elenei's Luca Moise. But to his dismay, Luca Moise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Eric Cazan charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Cazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eric Cazan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. David Buzincu scored 2-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelian Ionete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mugurel Donecea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Luca Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echipa Elenei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Moise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Luca Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Donecea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Echipa Elenei defense, David Buzincu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelian Ionete. The Echipa Elenei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelian Ionete should have stopped the shot. Sorin Cazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugurel Donecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute Luca Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Donecea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Aurelian Epure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veveritele Ucigase -MM- and the Echipa Elenei players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelian Epure kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Moise in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Donecea saved Veveritele Ucigase -MM- from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Echipa Elenei lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
