In the 8th minute Basarab Bântu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Râznicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Virgil Macovei got control of the ball when Horia Cretan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Steaua:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Veveritele Ucigase -MM-:s goal. The referee gave Veveritele Ucigase -MM- a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgar Drumeș, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Steaua's Isac Râznicu. 0-2. Horia Cretan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgil Macovei came out and tried to block the shot, but Horia Cretan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 19th minute. Horia Cretan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Virgil Macovei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 25 minutes into the match, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s goalkeeper Virgil Macovei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horia Cretan. Horia Cretan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Virgil Macovei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua. Petruț Alexandrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Macovei having to interfere. Horia Cretans short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Virgil Macovei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Isac Râznicu came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Basarab Bântu. But to his dismay, Basarab Bântu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Steaua getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Teodor Cosâmbescu hit a great ball. Isac Râznicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Ghiciușca, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 played minutes Steaua got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Alexandrescu. The Steaua players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Veveritele Ucigase -MM- were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basarab Bântu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Iulian Miclea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua's zone, Ionel Ghiciușca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Râznicu came out of the goal and Ionel Ghiciușca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Horia Cretan notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Virgil Macovei. Virgil Macovei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steaua's Horia Cretan got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Horia Cretan made a precise shot to the right of Virgil Macovei. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s zone, Horia Cretan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgil Macovei came out of the goal and Horia Cretan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mugurel Manafu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Horia Cretan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Virgil Macovei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionel Ghiciușca got free with Isac Râznicu in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgil Macovei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Cretan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
