Ion Popoacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Zubaşcu having to interfere. When Petruț Puiu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pisicile Albe's protests and gave Petruț Puiu a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Pisicile Albe got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Puiu. Octavian Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Agulescu in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, FC Pirciu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Popoacă to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Aureo got free with Octavian Isăilă in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, FC Pirciu's goalkeeper Octavian Isăilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Moisil. In the 25th minute, Pisicile Albe's Gabriel Levițchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octavian Isăilă. Octavian Isăilă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. FC Pirciu's Octavian Isăilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Moisil in the 28th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Pisicile Albe's Octavian Isăilă threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugur Agulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Agulescu in the 38th minute of play forced FC Pirciu's goalkeeper Octavian Isăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Moisil in the 39th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Pisicile Albe's Octavian Isăilă threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eduard Moisil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugur Agulescu was the one to do the kick off. Octavian Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Puiu in the 52nd minute of the match. Pisicile Albe's Adan Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Pisicile Albe's Calistrat Zubaşcu got control of the ball when Petru Săvescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mugur Agulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavian Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Agulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
