Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Virgil Tiţe made the kick off and thus started the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Tiţe couldn't finish the play. After 5 minutes, Marius Pintilescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC FCSB SA and the Rimeti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FC FCSB SA's zone, Horaţiu Ilica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Lozovan came out of the goal and Horaţiu Ilica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, FC FCSB SA's goal looked a bit too open when Toar Duve came free, but Florin Lozovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Lozovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Florei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC FCSB SA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dragoş Ciutacu hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, FC FCSB SA's goal looked a bit too open when Toar Duve came free, but Florin Lozovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dragoş Ciutacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Lozovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toar Duve, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dragoş Ciutacu during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Rimeti were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toar Duve to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC FCSB SA's Florin Lozovan got control of the ball when Toar Duve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Țepeluș hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Rimeti played a much better game than FC FCSB SA and deserved their victory. The FC FCSB SA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
